শিশুর মস্তিষ্কের প্রায় ৮০–৯০% বিকাশ ঘটে ০ থেকে ৫ বছর বয়সের মধ্যে। এই সময়কে বলা হয় “critical period of brain development” – যেখান থেকে ভাষা, সামাজিকতা, আচরণ ও আবেগের ভিত্তি গড়ে ওঠে।
📖 Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University বলছে:
“Early experiences affect the development of brain architecture, which provides the foundation for all future learning, behavior, and health.”
👶 যেভাবে খেলা সহায়তা করে:
🧱 Fine motor skills বাড়ায় – ব্লক সাজানো বা বল ধরার মতো খেলা
💬 Language development ঘটে – কল্পনার খেলায় কথা বলা ও ভাব প্রকাশ
🧠 Executive Functioning Skills তৈরি হয় – প্ল্যানিং, সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া, ও মনোযোগ শেখে
❤️ Social-emotional skills গড়ে – শেয়ারিং, টার্ন নেওয়া, অনুভূতি বোঝা ইত্যাদি
🔍 যত বেশি স্পর্শ, শব্দ, রঙ ও যোগাযোগ—তত বেশি synaptic connections তৈরি হয় শিশুর মস্তিষ্কে। এই সময়টাই হলো “Serve and Return Interaction”-এর সোনালি সময়।
🎨 তাই আজ থেকেই শিশুর প্রতিটি খেলার মাঝে থাকুক শেখার সোনা ঝরা সময়।
